Idioms and Double Meaning Words
Ages: 7 and Up

As the title suggests our Double Meaning Words and Idioms CD targets two areas. The double meaning section shows two pictures and a word which has multiple meanings. Four sentences are presented one at a time while the student clicks on the picture which matches most closely to the word meaning. The idiom section presents a manipulated picture with an idiom. The student must then click on the sentence that describes the meaning of the idiom. An example of the idiom being used in a sentence is also provided. Flashcards may be printed for table work, card games, or homework.
